Blur merupakan band rock yang berasal dari tanah Inggris. Terbentuk di Colchester pada tahun 1989, band ini awalnya bernama Seymour di Goldsmiths College. Blur merupakan grup baru dari personel band sebelumnya yang bernama Circus.

Damon Albarn, sang vokalis sekaligus pemain keyboard, bersama Graham Coxon yaitu gitaris dan back vokal, serta Dave Rowntree yang bermain drum, menjadi trio asli band ini. Namun, formasi band ini baru lengkap ketika Alex James bergabung sebagai pemain bass.
