Dikutip dari Genius, dalams ebuah wawancara yang dilakukannya untuk majalah Rolling Syone, Adele sempet bilang kalau lagu 'Oh My God' ini menuliskan gimana keinginanya buat lebih banyak melakukan hal-hal di luar sana, termasuk menjalin hubungan lagi setelah menikah. Sayangnya, statusnya sebagai seorang penyanyi terkenal membatasinya.
